⁶⁵ And some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists, and to say to Him, “Prophesy [by telling us who hit you]!” Then the officers took custody of Him and struck him in the face.

⁶⁶ While Peter was down below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest came,^{(A) 67} and when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked intently at him and said, “You were with Jesus the Nazarene, too.”
